About Me

I grew up watching rom-coms, and all the cool girls in the movies were journalists, so I became one. :)

I’ve always been into storytelling. I joined journalism contests throughout elementary and middle school and wrote for school publications in high school. What started as a childhood interest eventually turned into a passion for telling stories and connecting with people.

I’m mostly interested in arts, culture, sports and feature reporting. As a student journalist, I’ve covered major sporting events, protests, local events and stories that bring communities together. I’m especially drawn to stories that highlight the human element and remind people of what connects us.

I also have experience creating content for small businesses, including Yoga Passage and Hayahay Massage, through photography, social media and advertising.

In a time of AI, misinformation, and uncertainty, this path can feel challenging but connecting with people, hearing their stories, and delivering the truth continue to remind me why I chose this field.
